Magnetic Knife Block Review

Naitesen Knife Set + Magnetic Cutting Board Review

https://amzn.to/4dujpFn

I bought this Naitesen knife set along with a magnetic cutting board, and now they sit in my kitchen looking like royalty. Not “nice little kitchen upgrade” royalty. More like “the king has entered the meat-carving chamber” royalty.

First things first: these knives are extremely sharp right out of the box. I found this out the fun way, which is to say the not-fun way. While unboxing and handling them, I later noticed tiny little cuts all over my hands. Nothing dramatic, but enough to make me say, “Ah yes, these are not decorative butter spreaders.” Since then, I have treated them with the respect normally reserved for power tools, wild animals, and toddlers holding open markers.

I only hand-wash these knives, and I try to do it right after use. I also do it myself, because my lovely wife and perfectly behaved children are not allowed to touch them. This is not a democracy. This is knife monarchy.

The weight feels great, the look is awesome, and the big fella in the set is an absolute beast. I used it on a 6 lb Prime Ribeye roast from Costco — $15 a pound, because apparently I enjoy emotional risk with my dinner — and it sliced through that beautiful thing like butter. We had friends over, I pulled the roast out of the oven, waited a few minutes, then sliced it in half while my friend watched in awe. For one brief shining moment, I felt like I was on a QVC ad that was actually working. It was like living inside Pinterest, but with beef.

I also run the knives through the built-in sharpener about 5–6 times, then slap them back onto the magnetic board for everyone’s viewing pleasure. They look fantastic displayed that way, and honestly, half the joy is just seeing them sitting there like a tiny culinary weapons wall.

For the price, in my experience, these beauties are hard to beat. They look great, feel great, cut beautifully, and make the kitchen feel just a little more dramatic in the best possible way. Sometimes they go on sale, and when they do, don’t forget to click the coupon box. Never forget the coupon boxes.

Get ’em.

Best for: home cooks, grillers, meat lovers, cast iron people, dramatic roast-slicing moments, and anyone who wants knives that look as good as they cut.

Small note: these are very sharp, so handle carefully, especially when unboxing. I recommend hand-washing and drying them right away to keep them looking their best.

Goofy verdict: kitchen royalty with a sharp edge and a flair for dramatic beef entrances.
